Home base:  Berwyn, Pennsylvania.  Noisy Neighbors is a vocal/instrumental quintet who are re-projecting classic rock hits in soaring four-part harmony.  We cover an eclectic mix ranging from the sweet sounds of CS&N and Cat Stevens through the British Invasion and on into American roots and pop.

Noisy Neighbors formed in 2018 when three seasoned musicians met in a pub and realized that they not only had a shared taste in music and beer, but that they lived within a few blocks of one another.  In 2021 we added bass and drums to be a full service rock band.

The band is ready to adapt to your needs, for a pub, a wedding, a party, a cocktail reception, a cookout, An exorcism, a grocery store, etc.  We can play "campfire style" (just a guitar or two), or more usually with a bigger sound  of keyboards, bass and drums.  But always lots of singing and popular songs.

Dave sullivan

vocals, keyboard, guitar, harmonica

Dave has been in 756 bands since 1910 when be backed up Louis Armstrong.   He leads with a big soulful voice and somehow knows the music and lyrics to every song of the 60's and 70's.  Dave appears solo as Uncle Outlaw.

Colin MacCarthy

vocals, 12-string, electric, acoustic guitar, keyboards, you -name-it

Colin is the youngster with the longest hair and well on his way to looking like Richard O'Brian from the Rocky Horror Picture Show. He has played in the locally popular bands Bounty Hunter and the prog rock Derecho Threat.  His wide vocal range often puts him on the highest harmonies or the grungiest leads.

Bill Mauchly

vocals, lead guitar, flute

In a previous century, Bill played prog-rock with Vacuum Pact and toured with Musica Orbis, a Philly-area classical rock ensemble. He put in a long stint designed keyboards and samplers for Ensoniq. This century he's seen with old-timey swing band Flyin' Home and violin-guitar duo Ward and McClee.

John Ward

drums and vocals

The Noisiest neighbor: another boy born and bred in Berwyn who beats on things with sticks.  One of three brothers who rocked their way through the eighties, nineties, oughts and teens.  He is also busy playing with the Day2 Band, singing in a choir, and producing singer-songwriter concerts.

Steve Shepard

bass

Originally from New York, Steve was lead guitar for the band Driving Force. Steve moved to Chester County in the late 70s and played solo and with various bands acoustic and bass guitar at several venues. Currently also playing with the band the Keystoners.
